The Ribble Valley is home to some extraordinary artistic talent, much of which is showcased in Clitheroe’s many galleries. The galleries are also dog-friendly so there’s no need to leave Fido at home. And with a great selection of cafés, pubs and restaurants along the route, why not make a day of it?

Knowle Top Studios

Home to the photography of Irene Amiet and Duncan Phillips, with collectors’ prints, gifts, fabrics and décor all uniquely printed with their photography.


Longitude Gallery

Specialising in Modern British Fine Art with particular promotion of North-West artists. Original paintings and drawings, sculpture, photography and printmaking.


Platform Gallery

Exhibitions and a craft shop featuring work by local and national designer-makers. The emphasis is on handmade quality items of original design. Also Ribble Valley's Visitor Information Centre.


Ribble Valley Art Studios

Local artists working and exhibiting in their studios and gallery, participating in collaborative projects and running classes and workshops.


The Old Bakehouse Gallery

Also the artist’s studio, the Old Bakehouse Gallery displays original landscape oil paintings and prints by Peter Taylor.


The Steward’s Gallery

Clitheroe Castle and Museum is home to the Steward's Gallery, it is a dedicated exhibition space for art, photography and social history exhibitions.
