The band has performed in Europe, and produced several CD over several years. Performances on our new ON-THE-EDGE stage will be a festival landmark from which Clitheroe may never recover! It features J Frisco at 1pm then Andchuck at 2.15pm followed by the World Service Project at 3.45. J Frisco is a free, experimental trio combining art and poetry with improvised music. The trio change perceptions and breaks down boundaries through improvisation. Andchuck , a modern/experimental jazz quartet brings new sounds to jazz - funky grooves, colourful harmonies. The World Service Project are leading specialists of Brit Punk-Jazz. If you missed them at Darwen’s No. 39 then here’s a chance to witness one of Europe’s finest live acts - their live performances are definitely not-to-be missed. The band has played at Edinburgh International Jazz and Blues Festival. 3.30pm to 4.30pm Cacophony Arkestra Cacophany Arkestra is a carnival arts/music band which started performing Soca & Calypso tunes at Preston Caribbean Carnivals. Under band leader, Bob Heath, band members will bring blends of jazz & Afrobeat and provide a memorable visual experience! It will be supported by local jazz pianist, Trish Ferrarin.
