Clitheroe Royal Grammar School Swing Band
Clitheroe Royal Swing Band Grammar School Swing Band is an experienced group of young musicians curated by Greg Banks. The band has performed in Europe, and produced several CD over several years. Expect a notable performance.
1pm to 2pm
Teacher/band director, Lisa Clarke, brings Accrington Academy back to the Holmes Mill festival outdoor stage, giving young musicians from the Academy bands a chance to shine after their excellent 2017 festival debut.
2pm to 2.30pm - (Break for wedding party!) then 3pm to 3.30pm
The Thundering Herd - Farleigh School Big Band
The Thundering Herd (Farleigh School) one of the hottest youth jazz ensembles in Southern England, is comprised entirely of children aged under 13. The band has played at Edinburgh International Jazz and Blues Festival and twice played at Edinburgh Fringe: ‘They may be small but they can play with poise; it is thrilling to see such young talent.’

Cacophany Arkestra is a carnival arts/music band which started performing Soca & Calypso tunes at Preston Caribbean Carnivals. Under band leader, Bob Heath, band members will bring blends of jazz & Afrobeat to the outdoor stage at Holmes Mill, and provide a memorable visual experience!

The Cheating Hearts, a 5-piece Lancashire band of experienced musicians covering songs from Lindisfarne, Bonnie Raitt, World Party, Bob Dylan, Steve Earl and more.
5.30pm to 6.30pm
Jacky Bond Blues Band
Legendary blues, harmonica player/singer, Jacky Bond, appeared in the 60's with the Hurgs, and performed on the same bill as top British Blues bands including John Mayall's Blues Breakers, Fleetwood Mac, & Rolling Stones.
