QEGS Jazz Bands

Jazzy tunes from Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School pupils (QEGS) at 2017 jazz festival ensures a return to the Holmes Mill outdoor stage in 2018, thanks to Trish Ferrarin.

1pm to 2pm

Red Hot Drop

Red Hot Drop, a local 7 piece jazz/soul/funk band will set you dancing to classic tunes such as "Nutbush", and "I Feel Good"

2pm to 3pm

Muskrat Ramble

Muskrat Ramble is a collective of teenage musicians from South Cumbria. Their sets are full of sneaky latin tunes, chilled-out smooth jazz, bold funk numbers and traditional swing, producing vibrant and varied performances. First seen at Lancashire Jazz Festival.

3pm to 4pm

Pancake - Steel Band

Darwen based Band, Pancake, will play a variety of songs from classic Caribbean and Latin, to pop covers. Features Darwen music legend, Gary Ward!

4pm to 5pm

Clitheroe Ukulele Orchestra

During the 2013 Ribble Valley Jazz Festival, Valley Gigs ran a ukulele workshop. Those participating decided to start a ukulele group. Since then "The Clitheroe Ukulele Orchestra" has given numerous local performances. Here again at RV Jazz Fest!
